"In 2005, Delta C Watercut Monitors were installed to measure water content for two crude oil pipelines in the Daqing Oilfield, China. Since that time, all data has been recorded at the DCS for tracking and trend analysis. High water content alarms were established and the resulting data confirms that Delta C Watercut Monitors have run with stability and accuracy since installation. Engineers have been alerted to all high water instances, allowing them time to take appropriate measures, and avoiding potential damage to production equipment."
